Peyton Euriah
Peyton Euriah is a contemporary figurative painter based in Los Angeles, California. Through large-scale oil portraits that merge realism, abstraction, and expressionism, she explores themes of identity, faith, childhood, resilience, and the shared human experience. Her work is distinguished by the use of 24k gold foil (mostly hand-sourced from Venice, Italy) layered alongside oil paint, pigments, and mixed media to create richly textured compositions that honor the dignity and inherent worth of her subjects.
Raised in a creative family of entrepreneurs and artists, Euriah began drawing and painting at an early age before pursuing formal artistic training. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Painting and a minor in Fashion Merchandising from Marist University. In the course of her studies, she participated in an artist program in Venice, Italy, led by renown sculptor and Guggenheim Fellow, Ed Smith, in 2019 during the 57th Venice Biennale, where she was immersed in the works of the Renaissance masters and exhibited in a student-organized group exhibition featured among the many exhibitions taking place throughout Venice surrounding the Biennale.
Peyton's artistic practice has been shaped by extensive international travel and cultural exploration. Having visited more than thirty countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, Central America, and South America, she draws inspiration from the universal emotions, experiences, and stories that connect people across cultures. Her recent collection in progress, The Story of Children, explores childhood as a shared human experience through portraits of children from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Through this ongoing series, Euriah seeks to illuminate themes of innocence, hope, neglect, identity, spiritual strength, and the value of every human life.
Today, Euriah works full-time as a professional artist from her Los Angeles studio, creating large-scale collections for exhibitions, private collectors, and future institutional and hospitality partnerships.

Artist Statement
My work centers on the matters of the heart — the mental, emotional, and spiritual journey of growth that forges our identities from within. Through large-scale oil portraits that merge realism, abstraction, and expressionism, I capture the quiet intensity of transformation — the tension between vulnerability and strength, surrender and resilience. Layered oil paint, pigments, and 23–24k gold foil are integral to my process, symbolizing refinement through pressure and honoring the spiritual fortitude revealed through evolution. Each piece invites reflection, asking the viewer to recognize their own journey within the work.
